men are scared and women are unsure

warning 1 : potentially a very sensitive topic.
warning 2 : if you are not in a position nor have a positive outlook to life, guess this post may cause you some stress. so back off buddy, deal with your problem yourself, don't dump on me.

warning 3 : you don't want stress, then don't read.

if you go beyond the next two lines, it is because you choose to. and in case you don't like it, there is a small 'x' on the right corner of your browser window, click it... last chance.

these are just my thought, not validated with any scientific study or any religious study.

from the beginning when humans were not "civilized" the culture used to be to worship women. because it was women who gave birth to a new life. there was deep reverence shown towards women. the prehistoric Venus is possibly one the examples of reverence being shown to the receptive female form. what sage starwalker has mentioned on her blog, about the connection of "om" to the female figure was mind blowing.

the 'priests' when they evolved at a latter stage were mainly men. and possibly they saw women as a competing class, and were threatened by the power and energy of the women. and they did what "anyone" would do when faced by something fearful. they suppressed it. the women were suppressed and made to feel as if they were second class citizens. this seems to be continuing till the present times. but this is slowly changing, and has been changing over the last 100 year or so.

there have been sporadic instances in history of women coming out of suppression and shining for brief moments of time.

the continuous suppression of women throughout history, seems to have worked, to even erase from the collective memory of mankind, the power they have always had.

men have been scared. and they seem to have suppressed and built a kind of relationship with women where in the women feel that they need to be "supported" by men. a kind of Stockholm syndrome?

there seems to be change taking place with regards to this suppression, there is more freedom both for the men and the women. currently there seems to be a phase where in the women (i am talking of a collective memory) who are getting free, seem to be slightly unsure as to what is it that is being looked at from them.

i do not believe that the man nor women are superior to each other. they each have enormous power. for some reason, they have been kept separated, possibly to prevent joining of these two tremendous power to create something beautiful.

lot of talk about men being left brained, and women being right brained. that men are like this and women are like that, still goes on.

nothing ever worked on its own.

the yin and the yang, the taijitu (symbol of yin and yang), represents the essence of the duality of everything. one cannot exist without the other, one balances the second, each moves into the other and creates a wonderful energy, one is present in the other.

i guess it is time that we gave up being possessive about the singular traits which are present in isolation in the male or female and embrace, join the two forces and create a new world.

a new world of equals and a new world of equality.

if you are wondering why i have gone on to write about this subject, 'cause i still see one trying to be better than the other.
