why have we not found GOD.
from time immemorial man has always had GOD out there watching over us, taking care of us, picking us up when we were down.
the kind GOD, the angry GOD,the indifferent GOD.
we have plumbed the depths of our ocean, explored different corners of our cosmos. we have not met or seen GOD. we have been peeking into the sub-atomic world, we have seen glimpses of what looks like works created by the "hand of GOD".
we have perused our history, and there we see glimpses of godly people, people who have come in contact with GOD. in my days gone by , one of the books which used to fascinate me was "chariots of god" by Eric von Daniken. more about this in some latter writing perhaps..
but right now getting back to my question.
of all the places where man has explored, there has been naught a trace of GOD.
there is one place where man has not yet explored in too much detail. though the scientist may differ on this thought of mine.the innerspace of man, we have looked outside and everywhere, but we have been highly hesitant to explore the depths of man himself.
from a little bit of reading about gautama buddha, i get a feeling that he may have been the one who has seen this.
the GOD you are searching for, is within you.
reading about buddha, thorough the eyes of osho, a startling point was put forth. you have everything, and you, a human, is divine.
why don't we see this divinity? what is that we need to seek, to see this divinity? and the answer was, there in nothing which you need to seek, but that you need to drop a lot of baggage which you are walking around with.
once these baggages are dropped, you would be able to see the "truth".
we have not found god because we have been looking outside and in others, while the truth is that God lives inside of you, and to find him all you need to do is "Drop it", and what that "it" is, depends on how you have been seeking god.
the question is "do we really want to meet god?".
the truth shall be shown to one who stops seeking!
this may seem like a bit of mishmash which i have put together...and i have no answers , just glimpses of what i need .......
